Melegítő párnák 2. - sünik (Warmer pillows, series2 - Hedgehogs)

A melegítőpárnák második sorozataként süniket varrtam. Amikor december közepén meglátogattam a húgomat és ő boldogan mutatta meg a legújabb sünis szerzeményeit, aztán elhúzta szekrénye alsó polcáról az egyik dobozt egy rövid időre - mivel délután mentem át hozzá, így az afrikai hófehér sünijéből (Atelerix albiventris) csak a tüskéket láttam, hiszen ő ilyentájt békésen szunyókál.
The second series of the hot water pillows were hedgehogs. I visited my sister in the midlle of December and she happily showed me the new members of her hedgehog collection. Then she also showed me something else: she pulled a box at the the bottom a cupboard and - however it was a moment only - I could see her african white hedgehog (Atelerix albiventris). He slept quietly in a corner, as there was late afternoon.

Így aztán nem is volt kérdéses, mit kapjon. A húgom odavan a sünikért, a húgom barátja meg a húgomért és amikor épp nincsenek otthon, a két sünipárna együtt fogja várni majd őket haza... :)
So there was out of question what to select regarding both my sister and her boyfriend. Hedgehogs are beloved by my sister and my sister is beloved by her boyfriend - thus if they are out, two cute hedgehog-pillows will wait for them... :)

A felhős párnákhoz hasonlóan ezek is béleltek. Mivel nem volt ennyire sok flanel anyagom, egy régi őzikebarna gyapjúszoknyát alakítottam át az egyik, illetve egy nagyon szép, szürkésbarna kordanyagot választottam a másik süni külső borítójának készítéséhez. Béléshez a korábbiakhoz hasonlóan, flízt és flanel anyagot használtam.
Nóziknak fekete, illetve sötétszürke gombokat varrtam fel.

Like the cloud-pillows, these are are also padded. Since I hadn't got such much flannel, I used other textiles in case of the external cover too: once I chose an old deer-brown wool skirt's material, and then a very nice greyish-brown corduroy. The padding was fleece and flannel combination again.
I sewed black or dark gray buttons for the noses.
